Privacy Policy — DoDoAlbum

DoDoAlbum (“we”, “our”, “the app”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what data the app accesses, how it is used, and what choices you have.

1. Summary

DoDoAlbum is an on-device photo organization tool. It does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data. All your photos, albums, points, and preferences are stored locally on your iPhone or iPad and never leave your device.

2. Data We Access

To provide its core features, DoDoAlbum requests access to the following:

• Photo Library (NSPhotoLibraryUsageDescription) — used to read and display your photos and videos, organize them into albums, hide, and delete them at your request.
• Photo Library (Add) (NSPhotoLibraryAddUsageDescription) — used when you save photos back to your library.

We do not request access to your location, contacts, microphone, camera, calendar, Face ID data, or any other system resource.

3. Data We Do Not Access

We do not access, collect, or store:

• Your name, email, phone number, or contact list
• Your location or GPS data
• Your browsing history or device identifiers for advertising
• Any data from other apps on your device
• Any data from cloud services (iCloud, Dropbox, Google Photos, etc.)

4. How Your Data Is Used

All processing happens on your device:

• Photos you view stay in Apple’s Photo framework
• Albums you create or modify are stored in your iOS Photo Library
• “Hidden” status is set through the standard iOS isHidden flag
• The Trash feature uses a local store to remember recently trashed photos so you can restore them
• Your “pinned albums” preference is stored in UserDefaults
• Your organizer level and points are stored in UserDefaults
• Your language preference is stored in UserDefaults

5. Data Sharing

We do not share your data with anyone. There are no third-party SDKs, analytics services, advertising networks, or remote servers in DoDoAlbum. The app does not initiate any network connections.

6. Data Storage and Retention

• All app data is stored locally on your device.
• We have no servers, no cloud sync, and no backup of your data.
• If you delete the app, all locally stored data (Trash, pinned albums, points, language preference) is removed.
• Photos are not duplicated or copied outside of the iOS Photo Library.

7. Your Choices and Controls

You can at any time:

• Revoke photo access in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos → DoDoAlbum
• Delete photos permanently through the in-app Trash feature
• Restore trashed photos at any time before permanent deletion
• Undo any action (hide, delete, archive) with the Undo button
• Delete the app to erase all locally stored preferences

8. Children’s Privacy

DoDoAlbum does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children under 13. The app contains no user accounts, no communication features, and no advertising.

9. Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top. Material changes will be reflected in the App Store release notes.
